What is the current state of WCMC?
« on: January 01, 2012, 10:50:56 PM »

I haven't heard the WCMC calls/frequency mentioned on WMID recently ... is it still simulcasting WMID or has it flipped formats (or perhaps preparing to flip)?

Last I checked, everything was stat quo, but I wouldn't be surprised if something happens.

Still Oldies, but yeah. The word interesting comes to mind.

Well I'm all for programs on the left, right or center to be able to have a place to broadcast, but I really don't think political talk (or any talk) belongs on an oldies station. It would have made more sense for WCMC to flip to a talk station, but cutting into an oldies station 3 hours a day makes no sense.

And who knows maybe that's the route they are going and this is just a trial run.
