100.7 KSLX in Phoenix does a nice job.

I like them too. Glad to see they are doing well in the ratings. Was surprised and impressed that they are live and local at night, even doing contesting.

My favorite internet classic rock is "vintage rock" on . www.boomerradio.com. With the OTA classic rocks playing more 80s (and even 90s) I love that boomerradio only plays late 60s-early 70s classic rock, it's very refreshing. Some of it I never even heard before. I enjoy discovering this great early rock music.

103.7 the Bone in Wilmington NC will play anything that is rock based pretty much. Their playlist goes from the 60s to the year 2000.

I mean they will play 60's groups like the Zombies that really arnt even rock. Its a fantastic all around station.

And, for good measure- the absolute worst classic rock station is 95.9 the Fox out of Connecticut- 959thefox.com. This station has the smallest and safest playlist imaginable with NO specialty programming or features (themed weekends, countdowns) ever. They play the same tired songs the entire day every day of the week.

There are a few classic rock stations that really stand out to me.  101.5 KGB (San Diego), 98.1 KKFM (C. Springs), Q104.3 (NYC), 101.5 WIBA (Madison, WI) and 94 KZRR (Albuquerque) just to name a few.

Trapper, come on, WIMZ?

What is special about that station, outside of perhaps playing an overabundance of Stevie Ray Vaughn?
