KQQZ 1190
« on: January 12, 2012, 08:21:40 AM »

They must be on day power at night.  They are either running 10KW or 25KW (cp).  All I know is they sound like a local in north Al. at night, with a classic country format.  No sign of WOWO which is the regular here.  This is a good chance to log a new one.

Any time I hear C&W on 1190 it's always CFSL Weyburn, Sask., so not a chance for KQQZ here.

KQQZ Trashes KFXR(KLIF) 1190 down here. All it takes is a turn of the antenna to bring KQQZ to the top in the clear.

No KQQZ here in VA at night. The St. Louis area station beams toward the southwest according to R-L, at night before the CP.
