It's a novelty song, for cryin' out loud!  Some of you are taking it much too seriously!  It ain't no "He Stopped Loving Her Today."   Roll Eyes  And it never will be.  Just take it for what it is...a novelty song!

But it shows how far the Warren Brothers (among the co-writers of the song) have fallen, that they felt a need to appear in the video for the song!  Roll Eyes

It is what it is for better or worse but it certainly dosen't need it's own thread to talk about, ie: a waste of space.

Oh, sure it does.

There's one in my yard I keep forgetting to pick up. It has someone's name on it. There are others in other yards.

We have a college just down the street.

I just think it's a shame Dora Hall is no longer with us--she would be the perfect artist to record this song!  Google her if you don't know who she was.

I think it's one of those songs that's so bad it's funny, but man, it gets stuck in my head if I even see a red Solo cup.

Dora Hall would have been a natural for this one. After all she was the Solo Cup Girl. And if she had recorded this one, you could have gotten a copy of the CD with your purchase of Red Solo Cups.

I'm not sure who that is, but I can't picture anyone but a guy singing that song.
