For car radios, where this type of format is the most useful, the signal is strong enough for stereo in North Harris County. If coverage area is a concern, look at the HD--why not shut-off the HD instead? According to another poster KGLK used to be listenable to Madisonville, but after HD, it's now listenable up to Conroe.
