At one time there was talk that NHPR would partner with Vermont Public Radio to jointly operate a classical network in the two states, but NHPR bailed out before the classical network went on the air.  It would make sense for the two state networks to partner on this, after all there’s not much difference between classical music in VT and NH.

There’s also a bit of noise being raised about VPR recently changing it’s Sunday folk music program “All The Traditions” from 2-5 PM to 7-10 PM.  This places it at the same time as NHPR’s Folk Show, and some people in the areas where the two network‘s signals overlap liked to listen to both programs, now they have to choose one or the other.

WCRB was off-the-air for about half-a-day during the Halloween snowstorm.  WEVJ-FM 99.5 in Jackson was quite audible on a cold snowy day where I live.  I also heard it when WCRB signed off for a few hours between Nassau ownership and GBH ownership.  It's possible there a bit of interference to WCRB 40 or 50 miles north of Andover.
