I liked Doc Thompson on WRVA at night. I never liked him doing middays on WLW. His show was unlistenable. Did anyone else feel this way? What's the reason?

McConnell is a tough act for anyone to follow; I had figured the next host would be a sacrificial lamb. His show was OK, nothing special. Just didn't draw me in like McConnell (and I still have the choice to listen to McConnell online).

What Chickens**t would fire someone on their honeymoon?  I feel sorry for Doc, that's no way to be treated.

Radio must be one tough business. Glad I decided on something else years ago. How do people sleep at night treating people that way?

It is a fun business. There are plenty of great companies that wouldn't have done this to Doc. Some just happen to not
have a shred of decency.

They should have iced Jones and let Eddie go solo, imo.
At any rate, one week wouldn't have killed anyone.

You really need to do terminations in person. Surprised that's not in a handbook somewhere.

Doc was not on WRVA this afternoon, the sub kept saying Doc was on an "extended honeymoon"". Maybe that means Doc will have to move back to Richmond, I don't know

Anyone else think WLW is becoming so repetitive each day? Every time I tune into Willie's show it seems he's either talking to Chris Smitherman, Richard K. Jones, or Leslie Gizz. Would it kill him to branch out and interview someone else? Then you've got the same mindless juvenile humor with the 3-6 PM slot each day.

Do you think that Willies TV gig means less show prep at WLW?

Hey, you can always join the growing audience at Real Talk 1160....
