97.5 - something's changing
« on: February 01, 2012, 02:31:34 AM »

I had on 97.5 Bob-FM on tonight and there are voiceovers that state "something new Friday at noon."

That could mean a lot of things.  DJ's?  Format change?

They have sent an e-mail to clients telling them that there will be a period of being commercial free starting Friday so maybe that's a sign of some kind.

It wouldn't be talk related if they were going to be commercial free -- the audience wouldn't get it.

I remember back in '04 when they flipped from "Star" to "Bob" they also did a commercial-free first week or so.  Looks like another format flip is imminent.

Well actually, if the 1330 KJLL KWFM owners allowed it, 97.5 could use KWFM-FM.

Maybe in exchange for a generous donation to the KJLL KWFM station fund. Cheesy
