Good luck - I hope you do well. Is Bruce Cox involved, or are you dealing with the landowner/former station owner who foreclosed?
The construction permit application has been dismissed for a lack of action, so the story is changing.

Good deal - I hope everyone (you, Cox, and Walker) does well and the station lives on. What transmitter is being used? The old clunker that was there didn't have too much punch left.

I wish WKFL well also. That being said, it sounds as if they are off to a rough start. I tried listening early today 1 - 2:30 PM and they were off the air. (right now my listening post is eastern Hernando county probably about 10 - 11 miles south of their antenna,(assuming it's still north west of downtown Bushnell, just to the west of I-75).
Just picked them up and obviously a pre-recorded weather forecast which sounded several days old and indeed it was.
I was listening for a current temperature and instead the recorded forecast guy was telling everyone to have a good "Thursday" on Super-Bowl Sunday!
I hope things will improve for WKFL, I know it has to be an uphill battle. (this was at 5:14 PM)

I appreciate the support from the folks on the board. Yes we have some growing pains and the programming will improve in the days to come. Having problems with internet connections but hope to have that straightened out Monday or Tuesday latest. Again thanks for the support and please be patient while we get the system reestablished. Satellite internet at the tx site is a problem - I saw a Wild Blue dish when I was there several years ago. Tx site is in the boonies so that may always be an issue

Ok, Please do not read into anything you think you see...I am technically more advanced than that. I personally am a veteran engineer/broadcaster....yes we have some issues with the internet connection, but i do not rely on satellite thanks for your concern. glen zeigler sends

So far it's not making it to central Pinellas County on my pretty sophisticated monitoring site gear (not that I'm in the WKFL market). Mostly it's WAVS, Davie (Caribe format) and WDEK "The Deck" oldies from Lexington, SC. I am guessing WKFL has a pattern that protects the former mostly southward?
