I haven't used Newsboss.  I hear some good things about Burleigh(not sure of spelling but pronounced burly). I hear a lot of the big infinity news stations use it such as WINS, KYW.

At the Clear Channel station I work at, we recently went from Wire Ready to Newsgen.  Newsgen is pretty new and lots of holes in it, such as not being to print double space, ect.

The Prophet System isn't really newsroom software.  It's software that keeps the whole station running.   However, using Newsgen, I send newscasts into Prophet for our FM from my desk without having to go into a studio.

Would recommend a look at Newsready from WireReady (www.wireready.com) and "NewsRoom" from KLZ (www.klz.com)
