It could be for testing/adjusting the processing, or just to keep the license alive without tipping their hand as to format...they were getting close to the magic 1 year mark.
I'd like to know where they got that music from...maybe old Muzak tapes?

This morning in a 30 minute span I heard renditions of Eminem's Lose Youself, C,S,N&Y's Our House and Offsprings' Self Esteem.  A bizarre mix of music!

The Wikipedia entry on the Vitamin string quartet claims that have released 246 albums. Seems hard to believe they'd sell enough to keep churning them out like that.

102.3 would have been better served by going back to //1450 as WKXL-FM...More community oriented...and a better signal than the TX at 103.9

Why? They are no longer co-owned. What possible benefit to 102.3 would there be?

I guess I meant before the current ownership took over....I suppose there are actually a few formats that 102.3 could run that are not well served in the Concord-Lakes Region area..

Their signal just isn't that great, especially in and south of Manchester. Is there room for them to increase power?
I think they are close to 102.5 Waltham, but they are not limited by 102.1 Portsmouth.
