has 1370 WSPD opened themselves up to getting a competition?

I'm sure many of you already know about Mark Levin's parting with WSPD, the argument him and Wilson got into. With Wilson's way of running things and WSPD being the only game in town might the time be ripe for another station to compete with SPD?

Love your signature Steve! really!

That would be my first guess, Move crusty classic rock to 106.5fm and put The Ticket on a full market signal on 94.5. That might resolve the whole dispute with the Tigers not being able to be on The FM because of 96.1fm in Archbold. They could always keep The Tigers 1470 if needed.

They would probably put Huckabee on along with Dave Ramsey,Laura Ingram, Michael Smaeconish(sp?), and Mark Levin or Michael Savage. Would rather see Levin, just to see if he would go off on Wilson again LOL.

Thank's Howard Dean but it's the truth the area that 103.7 Cky served is also covered by 2 or 3 other country music station's why? why? why? waste 50,000 watts. That's a lot of power! When we have 5 other country station's ? What is clear crap thinking? Put WSPD on fm ,Adult/variety hits or smooth jazz! Smooth jazz it would be nice but it will not work Cry

Yeah move classic rock to 106.5 and that would fix the problem with THE DETROIT TIGER'S!
I always felt Cumulus could do more with 94.5 not that I don't like some good old hair band's but im thinking that classic rock could have gone on a another Frequency. Plus Wxkr's rating's have never been very high. Not that I can remember. For the power that wxkr has. Good idea Howard for 106.5!

XKR's ratings have always been ok but in the last few years they have go down a little. The station is cursed for morning shows so putting Benson back on with music only made sense. I think the audience is there for classic rock but I don't think it needs a 35,000 watt signal for the ratings they get. Personally I think Putting The Ticket on 94.5 makes a whole lot of sense.

Will have to see how The zone pans out this time, if it doesn't then maybe pair 100.7 up with 106.5. As for the name? 106.5 XKR doesn't sound right so... to me 106.5 The Buzz would work.

Right Right I agree Howard or 106.5 WXKR do the calls in full that sound's better. 106.5 The Buzz play's 70's 80's and 90's rock that will work to! Classic Rock is getting to much power with FM 94.5

I've always wondered why CC wouldn't blow up CKY for an adult hits format, like 106.5 the Lake in Cleveland. This town seems to love the older music and Adult Hits can play all of it without cannibalizing it's cluster (maybe some overlap with 101.5, but that's it) and bringing in some easy money for CC.
