Ludlow Porch's Funseekers Network dropping daily shows, moving to weekends only
« on: February 13, 2012, 08:25:24 AM »

Just read on the Funseekers website that Denny Ainsworth has decided to drop the daily run of the program.  The last show will be on 3/2/12.  He is moving to a weekend format going forward.

Have enjoyed listening to Ludlow and Denny many years on local radio and on the internet.  I knew that when Ludlow passed, it would be hard to continue the show moving forward in it current format given the economic times.

Hopefully, the new weekend show will be more successful.

Denny, have fun as you always do.

I would like to see ALL of Ludlow's shows moved to iTunes so that we could listen to them via iPod whenever desired.

Tomorrow is the final Funseekers Network show,at least as a daily show.I'll listen to it and treat it like it's the last one ever, because I think it is. I have real doubts as to whether Denny can get the sponsors, affiliates and listeners because he lost them by trying to make the show "different'' after Ludlow retired. He says that it is supposed to be a 9-11 AM Saturday show. We'll find out soon,I guess.
