That is a gutsy move.  Is Spin FM a dance music station?  That could be sorely needed in Cleveland.

They play everything...seems to be mostly dance music.  Check out the site.  They stream and list the last 10 songs played.  Http://93.7spinfm.com

How far does this station get out? I checked 93.7 with my Tecsun PL-390 in Vermilion, OH and heard a weak top-40, Kiss-FM type station coming in when I nulled out WQIO. Will have to listen more to see if it was this new station.

Yeah, probably wasn't it.  It covers a fairly small range.  It comes in after Brunswick on I-71 and dies off to the east as you get to West 130th on 82.  You can get it on some areas of 480 up to the airport.  Doubt it reached Vermilion though as it seems like a 25 watter max.

Thank you very much, guys. I live in Strongsville and have been listening to this station for over a year. It had fantastic programming, some amazing music I had never heard anywhere else before.

I noticed yesterday it was off the air. It's still off the air now. I did a search on Google, and found this message thread. I doubt it's coincidence that after over a year of operation, it went off the air the day after this thread appeared.

Oh well. The live stream is still up, for the time being I guess.

I tune in last night online and it was streaming classic rock. It seems like it's back on from what I heard the last 20 mins.

I don't think so. I just tuned to it, and all I get is a very weak, static-filled commercial station. In any case, I never heard classic rock on it - if it's not playing the stream on the web site, I doubt it's the same guy. Maybe someone else has taken up the freq?

I found the website and the stream.  They ran a news update from The Onion radio network!  Classic!  I hear an interesting mix of dance/rock music.
