Very interesting, the Obit does not say what he was doing in his later years other than the webcast.  Radio plays seem to be a lost art.

The Firesign Theatre did some brilliant stuff.  Among other things, they would do frequent TV/radio simulcasts with KPPC-FM.  You would tune in something on TV - like the Creature Features movie on a local TV station, turn down the TV volume, and FT would provide the improvisational sound-track.

Peter and his crew were geniuses at creating "audio art". Funny, absurd, and always brilliantly produced.
