I head a local guy on a Rush Station in Las Vegas. He said:  "you just wait, lots of advertisers will now flock to rush...."  Has anyone heard of a new advertiser on the Limbaugh show since over 30 sponsors dropped him?

Who says "over 30" sponsors dropped him?  I doubt he's ever had 30 sponsors at one time.  What's your source?

Rush says here http://www.radioink.com/Article.asp?id=2409863&spid=24698 that he's only lost two network sponsors. The others being reported by the media were local advertisers.

Sleep Train requested to get back on board. Rush told them no. I applaud him for doing so.

As my third grade teacher said, "A friend is a friend 'till the very end".

Rush's spokesman: "Unfortunately, your public comments were not well received by our audience, and did not accurately portray either Rush Limbaugh's character or the intent of his remarks. Thus, we regret to inform you that Rush will be unable to endorse Sleep Train in the future.
"Rush appreciates your long friendship and your past support, and we wish you good luck in the future."

Who's to say Sleep Train won't follow today's employment template, i.e.,
to replace a talented experienced person age 61 (like Rush)
with a young person of a prized demographic age 30 (like Sandra Fluke)
for a much lower salary?

If Rush isn't putting the mattresses to much use,
why not hire a new spokeslady, especially one who's been maligned as slut and prostitute to really show how to use a mattress?

You are oh so right Questor. Being a slut or john is usually a qualifier to be in radio or television. Elliot Spitzer is a great example. Instead of just attacking an individual, Rush should have had an affair. Wink

Yesterday, a radio news story claimed Rush's marriage is on the rocks. The source? The National Enquirer. Unfortunately, the Enquirer has proved to be a more reliable source that most newspapers (L.A. Times, N.Y. Times, S.F. Chronicle, etc.).

Even TMZ has been proven to be a better source than the SF Chronicle.
