Can't stand the John & Jeff Show, as they seem to repeat whatever the de jour conservative talking point is instead of coming up with their own POV.
People keep saying they're conservative and I haven't found that, at least not politically. Are you sure you're not thinking of "John & Ken",
a totally different talkshow team? I don't like them at all.
John & Jeff tend not to get into political issues, but favor human interest issues, such as what to do when your wife cheats on you and then tells you she wants another kid, or whether the government should ban hand-free cell phone use. They've asked how many truckers have taken speed to stay awake, and stuff like that. They also have little human interest quizzes.
Plus he is a native San Franciscan -- a rarity for SF radio these days.
Oh? Let's see...Brian Copeland, Jon Miller, Jon Bristow, Peter Finch, Pat Thurston -- okay, maybe not SF itself, but Bay Area. Actually there are a boatload of local folks in radio here, but those are just the ones that come to mind at the moment.
