What imaging voice styles are desired today?
« on: March 09, 2012, 08:53:25 AM »

I began in radio in the mid 70s as part-time air talent and, after two years, was made Production Director. I've since held that role at several other stations, but have been in-and-out of radio over the years. In it now as part-time air talent, I'd like to start picking up some imaging voice work (maybe its production, too). So I'm soliciting some feedback from you programmers so I can prepare a demo.

For whatever format(s) you may have worked, please just give me an idea of the style of voice/delivery you found appropriate for those formats. Certainly include any personal thoughts, if you care to.

I really appreciate the help. Thanks so much.

Two that I like are David Tyler and Glenn Hanson. I used Tyler for four years and am currently using Hanson...
