Well. Bye. Don't let the door hit your behind on the way out.

And those of you saying to stream via cell phone, you do know that unlimited data is almost a thing of the past, right? Do enough streaming and you'll be paying AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, etc. a lot more than what a Sirius/XM sub costs. Y'all have fun with that.

I think you need to do the math.  I listen to Iheart often and never go over my 2G of data per month. Even if I did, another gig would only run me $10.00.  That is a lot of radio listening time. No, your figures don't add up.  Besides, it really wasn't just the money as far as the reason I dropped XM.. It was the reduced playlists and the programs that they no longer offered that I happened to enjoy.

I realize to some readers it appears that all we do is bash this service, but it really is an issue that XM could care less what subscribers think or want, as they have proven over and over, so this Board is a good place to "vent"  with each other and the issues that have frustrated many of us who LOVED the service at one time.

The merger is what caused me to cancel my sub back in January 2008. Mel and his estranged son Hoo-Hoo Howie wanted to control what was their biggest threat, Opie and Anthony. It worked. People dropped their My-Fys and subs soon their after. You can just get their shows off of audible.com. Obviously you aren't all O&A fan boys so I'll just show myself the door now.

If you're not a subscriber and haven't had a trial subscription before, you should be able to try the Internet feed free for a week.

10,000 MP3 files?!?!?!
That must'a cost more than satellite radio.  Cheesy

True...  These files were gleaned from my 20+ Year Collection of CDs (which I did purchase).  Now I listen ONLY to the music I like and won't have to pay the seemingly rising XM fees.

It is cheaper to record it off a radio station, if you are lucky to find one with the format you like on to MP3.

Of course the vinyl at Goodwill's are cheap, and sound better than CD.
