Why Is KISQ still listed as an Urban AC station in the books?

http://www.radio-info.com/markets/san-francisco

I listened to the station and its more of an oldies station from the 1960's to the 1990's.  I do remember back in the 1990's to 2000's they were supposed to be an upbeat R&B station and a replacement of KSOL 98.9 when KSOL flipped to Spanish. I know they were supposed to compete against KBLX for the R&B side of the Playlist and KKSF 103.7 supposed to compete against KBLX for the Smooth Jazz side of the playlist.

Fast Forward to Today KISQ is the primary oldies station and KOSF is the secondary oldies station since CBS got rid of the format at KFRC 106.9 FM due to low ratings in 2008 for KCBS-FM (Simulcast of 740) News.

Not really a big deal. Its been like that for years. Even when the station was Rhythmic AC friendly in 2009-2010.

Whatever you call it ("younger-skewing rhythmic oldies"?) it's a refreshing mix. Nice to hear Madonna and Human League side-by-side with Cameo and Rick James.

When they were mainly '60s & '70s they were extremely repetitive -- "My Girl" and "Respect" 87 times a week. There are a few songs they play too often in the new mix (yes, "Bad Mamma Jamma" I'm looking at you) but there seems to be more depth and breadth.
