Really both Allred and Rush Needs to prove that the lawsuit is real and not a stunt.

I remember when Karel was fired from KGO in 2008 during the 2008 elections he lost sponsors on KGO but resurfaced as a blogger for the Huffington Post and a syndicated talk host because of the "Joe the Plummer" Comments. Karel was supposed to be a potential candidate to replace Bernie Ward. I remember Imus got fired from MSNBC and WFAN 660 for Ho Jokes in 2007 but resurfaced on syndicated radio and Satellite radio. Also John and Ken was suspended on KFI in LA for Crack Jokes on Houston. Look at Savage He was fired from MSNBC for his Aids Comments and got a contracts to be on KNEW 910 AM. Or Juan Williams for his Muslim comments on Fox News he was fired from NPR and got promoted at Fox News and Of course Howard Stern for his Shock Jock Tactics on E and Syndicated radio before he went to Sirius. Well to see Rush Dissapear from KKSF, KFBK. Rush has to go to Sirius and sign a contract there.

Rush doesn't need to go to Sirius. He's fine where he is.  Whatever sponsors he has lost will be made up with others within a few weeks.

The NPR firing of Juan Williams was totally stupid...the suits there played into the hands of NPR's right-wing detractors. They should be ashamed.  Clear Channel is not likely to be so politically correct. As long as Rush is bringing in the bucks, they will keep him on the air.

That's like saying that a certain TV network "couldn't afford to loose" Charlie Sheen. In radio, as in TV, the cold reality is that we are all replaceable. A company as large as Clear Channel could certainly find a replacement or multiple alternatives.

 Look at KGO, people thought they would not fire their 4 main talk show hosts.  Or look at Dr Laura, Stern Imus, etc.  yep everyone can be fired.  Some of the local law and doctor shows and real estate shows, infomercials, etc. might be a replacement for nationally syndicated shows.  Maybe there will be a swing back to local (paid) programming.

After all, there probably aren't many rap lyrics without "bitches" or "ho's".
