John Idler becomes new GM at WLS-TV

John Idler, who was GM at ABC O&O WTVD in Raleigh, NC, has now become the GM of WLS-TV.  He takes over for Emily Barr, who left to take a job at Post-Newsweek.   It doesn't say yet if any changes will take place at WLS-TV, but hope he can do something about the Livewell Network (if run from that station) & Windy City Live (both not that great).
