That UPS spot where they sing the "Logistics" song drives me up the wall too... And there is another spot with the same exact concept but I can't remember who or what it was.

Anybody heard the "heavy metal" version of Kars for Kids?  I'm not kidding.  This very well may go down in local history as the worst thought up and clearly the worst produced radio spot (commercial or non profit) ever conceived. If you havent had the opportunity to listen, you'll quickly realize that this version isnt just annoying, it's a button pusher...
I have heard this, very badly mixed, the music is quite a lot louder than the singing. I still hold to my first post though, highlighting the most annoying spots.

....and then there is that copy cat advertisement for "heritage for the blind", as heard on 1520 KBKW.  complete with the off key dork singing the entire ad.  by the way if your interested, the phone # is 1-800-donate cars.  tough choice here.  kids or the blind?  or you can donate your car to your local neighborhood redneck with the drive way and yard full of parts cars.  we'll scrap it out, trailer it up, and spend the recycling proceeds on more beer.

First Scott it's 1450 KBKW. Or do you mean 1520 KKXA? Second, the ads I hear for Heritage for The Blind are usually just a man talking about vacation vouchers if you donate.

KARS4KIDS doesn't bother me, it's cute, and for a good cause. I also get some good laughs out of those Select Quote ads with the legendary Dan Tullis and Joel Clark...."buying term life insurance is all about choosing the right company. Let's say you take anti-depressants or you smoke, all companies are going to price that differently, wool then partially shop all the companies to get you the best price." Someone's even posted this on youtube - and a clip about Dan Tullis on dope farmingf. Hilarious!

It's 1-8-7-7-Kars For Kids, not 1-800.

Some of the stations here on the east coast also have played this stupid "kars for kids" commercial, too. Please dump this commercial.
