Heard them on today as a country station.  Probably automated.

Tom, KSTN/1420 has been on the air for nearly two months, running Dial-Global's Classic Country satellite format. (I believe this is covered in another thread on this board.)

Didn't hear anything on 1420 on the way to Sacramento earlier this week.  Sad

Wonder if it could have been a blip, Roachley. I tune in now and then throughout the day, and it's been there each and every time.

What a half hearted effort at running a radio station. Is the station being LMA'd? Or is this the LaRue's baby? Stockton deserves better than this. BTW BRDJ The KSTN internet stream might sound more interesting with a bit larger selection of mainstream hits from the sixties, you cover the fifties really well.

Aside to RadioStarOne: the mix on Power Oldies 1420 (the digital stream) runs more to the Soul/R&B side, with a balance across late 1950s through early 1980s in all genres. The 1960s Pop is pretty mainstream on Power Oldies, but Classic 1260 KYA is about 80% Pop from the 1964-1970 era.
