cceng, how did you make WFLF-FM's signal so huge?
« on: March 28, 2012, 04:56:37 PM »

I was driving around this afternoon in Pensacola listening to Schnitt on WFLA 94.5 talking about the 350 million dollar Powerball drawing and that tickets were not being sold in Florida or Alabama but they were for sale in Georgia.  He was asking for someone listening in one of the 42 states that play Powerball to buy him 20 tickets and FedEx them to him.  Sounded like a good idea, so I called my uncle who lives in Georgia and asked him to stop by a store and pick me up 10 or 20 tickets.  He answered his cell phone and knew all the same information about Powerball that I had just heard on the radio.  When I asked how he knew he told me that Schnitt was just talking about it on the radio before his phone rang.   My uncle was driving through Chattahoochee and also listening to Schnitt on WFLF 94.5.... that's close to 200 miles away from me.

Rob, I guess you win the war against Hale's tiny stick.  Signal size does really matter.

CCENG --- just post some pics of deer season (or at least the pics of that empty likker bottles collection.) Rob can't blame that outstanding feat on tropo...

Your priorities are intact.

Don't think rob (aluminum) foiled your success...you're still the top strobey.
