Half of BET's programming will have to be cancelled and a huge amount of urban music will need to be taken off the playlists.

Really? Please point out specifically which half of BET’s programming would need to be cancelled. To make it easier for you here’s a list of their current programming:

106 & Park
Bobby Jones Gospel
BET Inspiration
Video Gospel
The Family Crews
Sunday Best
The Game
Let's Stay Together
Reed Between the Lines
The Bernie Mac Show
Everybody Hates Chris
My Wife & Kids
The Boondocks
The Wendy Williams Show
BET Awards
BET Honors
Rip the Runway
Spring Bling

More @ http://www.bet.com/shows.html

Next, what huge amount of “urban music” would be taken off playlists? All music is already edited and censored and selected based on content. Funny enough, Clear Channel stations routinely edit words like "ho" out of songs, so CC would be hypocritical to allow J&K to repeatedly utter that word while disallowing it elsewhere.

I’m interested in seeing your response.

They may censor the words, but we know what's being sung. We know the sexist attitude behind the songs. If John and Ken talked like most (NOT ALL) "urban" artists sang, even with the censoring, they wouldn't last a day. Talk about hypocrisy. It's the usual "You're not black, you can't say that but I can" insularity and collectivism.
