What you do think of these changes? Just a year ago Y94.9 changed to Kruz @ 94.9. Now Kruz is changing once again.

This stations offers nothing new to the table! I am hearing nothing but a bunch of songs already being played by Magic 107.9
I found Kruz refreshing to the rest of the radio landscape, introducing us to some artists that weren't being heard elsewhere. They were ahead of the curve on Adele's "Rolling In The Deep", playing it heavy rotation about 2-3 months before it crossed over to CHR. Yes, the triple A flavored Hot AC format of Kruz @ 94.9 went from 2.1 to 0.7 this latest book. But that isn't much different than the final book of Y 94.9, which was 1.3
Hey Cumulus, Volt, or whoever is calling the shots. If you are going to own a frequency that has a history of never doing anything better than a 2-3 share, at least bring the consumers something different to listen to. And oh yeah, fix that horrible audio quality of Warm 94.9! Ever since the format change, it sounds very hollow with what seems like a missing channel.

Agreed wxman. Also, I believe the channel is in mono for some reason, which is why the sound quality is terrible.

In related news, syndicated Kidd Kraddick is being moved from Power 105.7 to Warm 94.9. Kristen is moved from mornings to PM drive on Warm. Tim & Jeff (which seemed to have a good following back in the mid 2000s) returns to mornings on Power 105.7
I will credit Cumulus for at least bringing back some local talent back on Power 105.7

Warm will never beat Magic. We all know that.
If you want the ratings and revenue, put KFAY-AM on 94.9. This is super conservative NW Arkansas.
It will be in the Top 5. Guaranteed.

I find nothing on the new station that just reaches out and crabs me. I still think for an AC format, Magic Places better music. Maybe it is a work in progress, I don't know. But so far I am not see it. Kradick in the morning is a bad idea!! Poeple want music in the morning. The audience will go to Magic for their music.

Kruz was the only radio station that appealed to me in this area. It played the music I knew I liked and new ones that were just my taste. Not to mention that after a long day's work, I could get in the car and listen to the 5 o'clock funnies and actually crack a smile. Now, I get to listen to Mariah Carey and Celine Dion crap.
