KLIF news will do just fine as long as The Dallas Morning News and Star-Telegram are available for clipping.

KLIF and WBAP are now co-owned.  They essentially have a merged news department.  Rick Hadley of WBAP is the news director for both stations.  I'm sure KLIF will do just fine.

It's not like it can do much worse.  It's already below a 1 share 6+.  I can't imagine it's doing that great 25-54 either.

I can't believe that Huckabee won't end up as part of their mid-day line-up...and Krok must have a really strong contract to make them dump the free Laura show for a paid host during a daypart when talk stations' revenue is scant.

Not to mention Laura puts on a better show...

If I want talk radio in the AM, where do I go now? I will probably head back to the Musers but sometimes I like to get a taste of non-sports, non-guytalk talk...

Suggestions?

What? No more stuttering, stumbling and mispronouncing simple words in the morning? Even the kids on KEOM are more professional. I'm genuinely surprised it took them this long.

I think that John Batchlor Show on WBAP is awful.  I wish they would put something there in that time slot.

From what I just read, it seems that way.

Read where?

Surprising that they kept Krok & released Bolton.

I just don't get the fascination KLIF has with Chris Krok. It's unlistenable to me. He sounds like a nervous wreck- and sends that vibe through the radio to me until I'm anxious to the point I can't change my radio quick enough. Seems like a nice enough guy, but when did it become acceptable to learn how to do radio in a major market?
