The FCC approved the transfer of all 4 licenses to Connoisseur on 5/15/12.

One might think with Memorial Day day less than 2 weeks away, they would want to take control of the stations by then.

Time to start the 94X countdown clock.

I think Connoisseur should sell WIGX 94.3 to JVC, so that WJVC 96.1 could be simulcast on it. Then most of LI and parts of Queens could receive 'JVC's country programming. WJVC, with its limited signal, has higher ratings than WIGX, even though the latter reaches a more populous area.

The sale was completed on Wednesday July 3rd.  There have been no changes other than the top of the hour id mentioning Connoiseur Media and web site tweaks.
