KJOX/Yakima Flips The Switch To "The Tractor"

Effective Wednesday, the former ESPN Radio affiliate is now classic country "1390 The Tractor"/KTCR. They will still carry Seattle Mariners and Washington State games under the new format.

At the start of the year, ESPN notified the former KJOX that they would be opting out of their cotnract with the station.

But then what happens to KUTI? Will they switch to ESPN? You CANNOT have two classic country stations on AM in a population of 100,000 or less.

I'm sorry, but other than the Mariners reference. What does this have to do with Seattle-Tacoma?
