Garrett Quinn weekend Show off of RKO Saturday Schedule
« on: March 29, 2012, 08:29:36 AM »

Boston.Com blogger Garrett Quinn had been hosting a political talk show on Saturday afternoons. It appears that the show has been cancelled. It was not last week and I don't see it listed on the web site.

I really enjoyed the show because it was free of name calling, constant Obama bashing. I don't mind criticizing the President but RKO basically runs 20 hours of Obama bashing each day.

Quinn's program included good guests and intelligent discussion about politics and the current campaigns.

Would wonder if he's going to WTKK, which lost Mel Robbins to an Orlando station. For now the WTKK site simply says "96.9 Boston Talks Live and Local" in what had been her slot.
Wonder if Quinn became acquainted with WRKO because of the on-again, off-again blog-based
show Pundit Review.

WRKO sched says "Money Matters Weekend Edition" then "Best of Tom & Todd". Armstrong paying to be on...

WRKO has to do something with their station.
You know what's a good show that would be a good talk show on there? "Good Life Morning Show" that I hear on (Big City 101.3) Weekdays in the 8am Hour they have a Topic (Talk) . They talk about Politics, Entertainment, Issues that need to be discussed that no other radio station talk about-but need to talk about. Their show is great. That'd be cool if WRKO gave them a chance.

They have to do some things with their station. President Bashing for 20 hours a day. Come on now. Talk about something else. It's a Talk station.

Good Life Morning Show talk about a wide variety of topics. Why not give them a chance on a legit radio station?

Well, if they'd just get rid of the infomercials for Barry Armstrong it could be closer to 24.  Don't worry, it won't be an issue anymore  on 1/20/13.

They make money with the money informercial stuff. That's what matters to them. If Hollywood
can make more money with Alvin and the Chipmunks movies rather than a modern day
equivalent to Citizen Kane, then, Alvin, Simon, and Theodore, get ready for your next big flick! Smiley

His availability depends on his first job - covering campaign trail for boston.com
He'll be back. Deep breaths, deep breaths...
