Why in the hell do they say "WABD-FM Atmore, Mobile...?"

Why doesn't it surprise me that you don't know?

Did we find out what the "D" stood for?? I knew it was Atmore since the KICKS era..

I see this whooping HMN's ass by the fall.. I'm willing to bet this will become 107.3 WFLA (since that's owned by CC and it's a good candidate)

BTW, WABD's HD signal came live again, makes me think if there going to put an hd-2 in the future?

Gosh, I would hate to see Hit Music Now fail. The music on WABD is not as great compared to Hit Music Now. When it comes to selecting music, usually or from what other several people have posted on Cumulus CHR's, they don't play certain tracks. Right now, they have not played Drake and Rihanna 'Take Care." Why? It's beyond me. HMN plays a good variety of tracks.

WABD has the dj's, not the music. Hit Music Now has the music, not the dj's...well, Matt McCoy is tryin' and I recognize that. If hell breaks loose and nothing encouraging by the ratings (again, how will we see how they are doing) look for 107.3 to fail. I'd bet you 107.3 will fail before 104.1.

I think the consensus is that, besides sounding and looking similar to WABB, it may be a friendly reference to BD — Bernie Dittman.

I doubt it.  None of the other Cumulus stations have HD2s.  As good as their HD feeds sound, I wouldn't mind having some more variety to choose from in this market.

What good is HMN's signal since it's crap here! What are they trying to serve? Pensacola Beach? They really need to get back to 98KW to kill BD.. Moving their stick there was a bad idea. I wonder how their signal is in Mobile. HATT is important, so is coverage. and this is why ABD will kill HMN, if HMN can get back to 100KW then it's a no brainer. Agreed on the playlist though. It sucks! If the PD's are reading this, how's about adding some variety!

Alright, too bad this will NOT happen but If I may: 94.9 KSJ (95KSJ) - Great Country Station 96.1 The Rocket - Put the Rocket on 107.3FM/switch HMN to the 96.1 for a stronger signal, for goodness sake, however, I am EXTREMELY, 100% doubtful that this won't happen because I don't think 96.1 the Rocket will want that unless some major negotiations go through. Lite Mix 99.9 - Revamp the station/name and playlist - it's to bland, Delilah is sooooo OLD SKOOL..heck, I would not mind if it's run by Premium One (like the simulcast feeds cause they're variety of music is actually variety) Name wise - I like Fresh 99.9, 101.5 (TK101) - Good Rock Station. And last but not least - 107.3 HMN - do the same as for 96.1.

Now, will all this work. Probably not because Clear Channel Mobile is lame. And lazy.
Goodnight.
