Have they forgotten about Seattle's KNHC, which is (nearly) a full-market signal?

Don't forget about Mesquite, TXs KEOM which is a 61 kw C1 in the DFW Metro.

But hey More Power To KVIT, its great to see stations like this improve!

KEOM is a strange situation. Looking at their website and their descriptoin, its a radio training ground for teenage students, yet its format is oldies Classic Hits aimed toward what seems to be a Baby Boomer audience.

I've got to applaud KVIT (and, to an extent, KNHC) for being radio targeting the high-school audience while serving as a way to train students in radio.

I was at a pool party yesterday and we decided to hook up my smart phone to the Goldmine pretty much all day into the night. Everyone at the party was like what stations is this? They were thinking it was some out of town satellite station or XM station and I should nope it is a local east valley station. They were blown away by the station, great variety, good mixing in the evening.. just perfect.  Lovin the Goldmine and they are now my "go to" local station in the valley ;-)

Glad to hear that about your Pool Party...I feel our music mix is second to none....Let's just see if it pays off by letting us show at all in the ratings in the next few months.  I was on a drive today...nice to hear the Goldmine on 92.7 on my drive from the east valley to dinner with mom near metro center and back.....so no longer are we just east valley, but you know that.
