Does AP Radio do top of hour newscasts anymore?  A lot of stations used to pay for them, rather than run net spots.

I was assuming so, but now I'm not sure--considering that I don't see a mention of them on the new AP site (see http://www.ap.org/products-services/audio and http://www.ap.org/products-services/radio).

AP Radio News still does a TOH newscast, it's 3 minutes with an outcue at 2:00.  Spots aren't embedded, and they're of the usual barter nature (Home Depot, Geico, Kohls, etc)

They also do a 1 minute "AP Update" at :31 past the hour, and another 1 minute AP update at :55.

I'm definitely a fan.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions.  I think exploring possibilities with ABC is where I'm going to start.

I think you probably would like the ABC/Entertainment Network. 4:00 minutes on the hour... 2 minutes of news, a minute spot, another minute of news, which is optional.  Also a 1:00 update followed by the spot at :57.

ABC/Direction used to offer the same newscast (without the sounder and different spots) as an option.  They had another newscast for ABC/D that was two minutes fed at :50.  They may have changed this... I'm not sure how the "ABC News Now" fits into the picture.
