You would think there would be enough local and NC news to fill their newscasts without such a stupid presentation of a story that has little or no bearing on the market. About the only connection to the Triad is that it has happened here in the past.

Expanding local news from 30 minutes to 60 or 90 has low incremental cost, as long as the station is willing for the broadcasts to be repetitive and full of fluff. Unfortunately that's the formula that most stations adopt, although many of them try to obscure the reality by framing it as 2 or 3 separate broadcasts of 30 minutes each. I don't watch them.

All the Triad stations in my opinion "stink"  Too much ha ha He He Feature reporting about nothing "Girl Talk" etc...Blah!!  I'm from the Old School TV..  Sorry, But if it "Bleeds" it leads.. Face it humans want to see that stuff.. Pass by any accidet site and watch all the "rubber-necking"!
