'SVU' interrupted in QC by baseball
« on: April 17, 2012, 10:45:19 AM »

I was watching 'SVU' repeats last night on My 8.3, then all of a sudden, White Sox baseball cuts in. Also, I can't find any alternate times for any My Network TV programming that has been or will be pre-empted by Cubs or WS baseball. And to make things worse, I can't tune in to KWKB anymore for MyNet! Why can't Antenna TV 8.2 air these games like it did last year?

In Des Moines, the Cubs and White Sox games will air on WHO's Antenna TV subchannel.  For those that may not know, these are the games that WGN produces for WCIU and until now were only seen in the Chicago market.  Nice that Tribune has finally started syndicating those games.

The airing of the games on 8.3 may be a business decision.  They may get more viewers and ad revenue from those games, than they would with the regular programming.

Still, it'd be nice to see for instance 'SVU' and 'Cold Case'-- even if they ARE repeats, I'm sure people would want My 8.3 to find alternate times for these shows...
