20/20 Sunset Boulevard

This smells like a pilot for a new reality/magazine series on ABC.

I watched the 20/20 "Sunset Boulevard" special tonight and it came across as disjointed.  Almost like setting up stories for future episodes.  That is why I predict this will become a new series.  Perhaps it has already been announced, but this is my first exposure to it.  Anyone have any further insight?

Sounds like another go at the former 20/20 Downtown, the deeper, noir-ish, non-Barbara, non-Hugh version.  Without having seen a promo or episode, I would guess celebrity scandals/downfalls and crime stories in this one (?).

On paper, it would appear to be a "20/20" spinoff aimed at the E! crowd.

In fact, it's the same concept as "E! True Hollywood Story" - just with the "20/20" branding.
