WHEN DID RTV GET YANKED IN ALBANY?
« on: July 07, 2012, 10:52:36 PM »

I just noticed this evening that RTV is no longer on WTEN 10.3 ... They now have the Livewell Network -- "LWN".  I realize that RTV had lost their popular classic package, and programming was a bit stagnant...but it didn't occur to me that WTEN would be on the verge of replacing them.  Cry  A re-scan did not reveal that they moved it to another channel.

I'm still waiting for Bounce TV in Albany, but at this point I don't care much Wink Can't wait for WXXA to go full HD for news as well...

Very recently then!  I see on RTV's website, that they're "sad" to have lost WTEN...claiming they didn't renew their affiliation. They urge us to call them and voice our opinion, or call "any other" station within the area and claim "we want our RTV" --- fat chance, I believe they'd say!! I also saw that they lost their Washington DC channel too. Actually WXXA should pick them up...since they once had that other similar network which sort of morphed into an even stranger oddball mixture of programming.
