When Atlanta's Greatest Hits flips to All News, you can still listen to basically the same station online from Buffalo, NY. Cumulus-owned Classic Hits 104.1 WHTT.

I agree WYAY should have stayed classic country, and Rhubarb Jones should have been allowed to finish out his contract.

Everybody says they hate Cumulus. Well, they did just launch an almost perfect All-News station in the ATL. Now that takes some skill. #GoMcVayAndDickey

It's about time for a city Atlanta's size. Yes, another oldies station has been sacrificed, but WSB won't go all-news. Not with Clark Howard in the way. Let's see how Cumulus does it.
Is there a smaller market than Atlanta with an all news station? The only ones I know of are in bigger markets.

Are there any plans to change call letters? It may be a challenge to stomach "Yay-News!" (The above post made possible by Yahoo! Sports.)

Change them back to WWID.
"What in the Wide Wide World of Sports* is going on here?"
*Would the Mouse let Cumulus use that trademark too?

I would go for WANA-FM- All News Atlanta. All News. All the Time.
Or, If you were going to tie in with WXIA- WXIA-FM or WATL-FM.
I would go for a slogan of Atlanta's News Connection.
BTW, when do you think WYAY will change, or when will they start stunting.
