Story about WIDU/WAGR/WEWO's owner Wes Cookman in the Fayetteville Observer today:

It includes in the ending the ubiquitous print-story-about-radio-mistake (or maybe it's more about geometry):
The three AM stations, 1,000-5,000 watts in eastern NC equal "1,500 mile radius"  Shocked Shocked Shocked

Still, nice to see a radio guy in the paper.
