What Dieter did was tasteless, vulgar, and disgusting.  However that seems to be the show's basic appeal.  I don't condone for what minute what Dieter did.  However, it was not in violation of FCC regulations so the license is not in jeopardy.  As far as "inciting violence" I think that's a stretch, especially since said violence was not done.  It's no different than me saying "Someone ought to bitch-slap you for making such a stupid post."  I would be simply exercising my 1st amendment rights.  I'll say it again..... what Dieter said was clearly inappropriate, but not illegal.
