Anyone have any opiions on the Classic Hits 101.5?  It is a nice change from the same old stuff you hear over and over again on every other station.

I continue to enjoy the station and occasionally hear some songs that rarely or never get played anywhere else.  Today I heard the 80s tune "Neverending Story".  Even as an avid radio listener, I can't remember the last time I heard that on terrestrial radio.  Probably not since the mid 80s.

Yesterday I heard Weezer "Beverly Hills" (2005).   Don't get me wrong, I like Weezer, but I question if a song that is only 7 years old belongs there. Perhaps without a GenX or Hot AC station in NWA, they can get away with it. Being 36, I personally like the occasional 90s or 2000s song spiked in, but I wonder if they should just stick to late 60s, 70s and 80s.

I wouldn't say the jocks are necessarily great, but they are good and it is nice to hear live and local from morning to evening...more like the radio I grew up with.

Spring ratings have come out...sort of.  Unfortunately, it seems that only ClearChannel and KAKS-FM show up as subscribers.

Both Magic 107.9 and 93.3 The Eagle were down from last fall.  I wonder how much Classic Hits 101.5 has to do with this.

Nice group of folks at the upstart cluster there, and I think they've done a fabulous job with the music. I'm anxious to see how the station fares a couple of books in.

That is if they even subscribe.. Seems like everyone else has dropped off the books besides ClearChannel. Greedy Arbitron.
