New Streaming Station
« on: April 30, 2012, 03:13:45 PM »

91.7 WEEM - Playing the 90's, 2K & Today, 91.7 WEEM is student run radio from Pendleton Heights High School.

All weekday mornings, afternoons and evenings are awarded shifts based on experience, quality, and more. In-school rotations (7:30a-2:30p) are often lesser experienced students and can be the first attempts on-the-air.

Just wondering why you chose Hot AC as a format for a high school radio station - is there no Hot AC in your area?

More music variety with "known" artists to gather student-parent interest. We were with a mainstream pop format for a few years, but we need to avoid over-sexualization and alcohol/drug use. Hot AC seems to be a good place to be between Pop and Safe.

Just looked at the Top 20 and it looks really good. I wish we had more stations like this, without the mind-numbing repetition of the existing Modern ACs. I'll definitely be streaming.
