WGNY-AM-FM Voice Tracked ?

I believe WGNY-AM-FM's Joe Manglass show is voice tracked in the evening hours, are the other shows heard though out the day also voice tracked ?

I was about to start a thread on this myself. The place certainly sound tracked,the DJ's never anounce the time or temp. That's always a dead giveaway the place isn't live. Any thoughts??

Many stations do not give time/temp checks outside of drive time, perhaps so you can't tell the difference if the program is voice tracked or not. I am quite sure Van Ritshie morning drive is live, he does do time /temp checks, as is mid-day Bob O-he has the call in "request show" at noon . I don't listen to Buffalo Bob much, but it would make sense he could also be live. I think Joe Manglass is most likely voice tracked, and not very well his voice over and comments sound canned.

IMO, it sounds like everyone but van ritshie is VT'd.  it's not hard to tell they loooooove voice tracking there.  just listen to 103.1.

Seems obvious that outside the mornings everything else is VT. Cheap in, cheap out.

manglass is vt--part of mid day is vt--think corsino is also...dj is an endangered species.....

I have to give Sunrise Broadcasting's, WGNY AM/FM and WJGK they are locally owned and operated, one of the few in this market. They are by far the best  locally owned and operated stations in the area .If the stations are VT most of the time they are doing  the same thing many of the big mega- corporations clusters  like Clear Channel and Cumulus are guilty of. WPDH and WSPK may be live most of the time but the smaller stations are either voice tracked or satellite much of the time.
I am no fan of voice tracking ,quite the opposite  I am just saying...
