WODS/Karen Blake getting another new co-host
« on: May 02, 2012, 06:57:51 PM »

WODS's Karen Blake is getting yet another new co-host.  Since becoming their morning voice, Karen has gone solo; endured the hell that was the Bob Lobel experiment; gone solo again; been paired with Chris Zito; gone solo again; and now, according to Boston Radio Watch, she's being paired, effective this Thursday, with John Laurenti who has been in Boston radio for 26 years.  You'd think that Karen might get top billing for this show but no:  "The New Breakfast Club with John and Karen" begins Thursday May 3rd from 5:30-9.

Never should have left Providence.

Should've stayed at Umass/Maynard High School station.
Look where Lobel, Zito and Ralphie ended up after this gig.

Zito is now (as of 2 months ago or so) doing mornings on a Springfield MA station.

Not exactly one of the all-time legends. Does CBS have doubts about the ability of a woman to carry a morning show?  Judging by the Web site, which appears to be geared toward morons and idiots, I'd say the boy-genius programming VP is  apparently going for an all-vapid format.

Ya missed one, our good buddy Ralphie Marino was a part of Occupy ODS, as well.

The pairing with Bob Lobel and Also Ralphie Marino was after Zito, I believe.

Zito was good, J.R. would be good as her partner.

Interesting pic on WODS, she looks thrilled. Her name should be first.
