Audio Vault-AV AIR
« on: May 14, 2012, 08:22:28 PM »

Hello.

Using AV AIR 8.42  ...Wondering why, if I have to restart AV AIR after i've edited the next days log, does the log
next days log revert back to the unedited log..ie: the changes i've made to the long, don't keep.

thank you

It certainly doesn't sound right.  Call tech support.  I bet you need to clean out a certain file or files to get it to stick properly.  I've found that AV requires a bit of housekeeping from time to time.

Talked to my guy who used to be with us....If you edit the log in AVAIR, it doesn't remember what you did..IF you
edit log in AV Scheduler and save it you will be fine.. that's what AVAIR reverts to after restarting...

Yeah, what he said.  Seriously, if you do your edits within AVAir itself and not AVScheduler, you will lose any and all modifications to the log upon restart.  The log isn't permanent unless you do it in AVScheduler.

No version of AvAir saves log changes until you get to Flex.

In older versions, make all modifications in AvScheduler before you export.

Flex saves everything.  I highly recommend it as an update.
