Don Imus Replaced By Local Talk on WKIP/WJIP
« on: October 01, 2012, 09:19:55 AM »

I guess not many of us, me included have listened to WKIP/WJIP much lately. I had not noticed but Scott Flbush of NERW  http://www.fybush.com/reports that Don Imus is out as morning drive host on the simulcast. In his place is Hudson Valley Focus Live with Tom Sipos. He was already doing a Sunday show for 1450/1370. I don’t know anything about him but kudos to Clear Channel for putting some live on local talk on their AM stations.

Haven't listened since they stopped the simucast on 99.3. It was cool to listen to Imus on FM while it lasted. It is better they have a local show in the morning on the AM stations. WABC comes in good enough in the area if one wants to listen to Imus.
