Save money, don't build it.  Make money, sell the permit for whatever someone will give.  There is no money to be made with an AM signal anymore.

Problem is, the site is already partially built.  The towers are up, phasor and transmitter buildings are in place.

They HAD a construction permit. They just didn't get it finished in time, and the CP expired by law.

The request for reconsideration was dismissed by FCC. It is noted in todays FCC Daily Digest. So they will either have to tear the site down or hope they can purchase the CP next time there is an AM auction.

Third option would be to see if they can get another AM signal, and move them into the array.
