Craig Ashwood in the hospital
« on: May 08, 2012, 09:15:13 PM »

Hey I wanted to let the community know that Craig Ashwood went into the hospital yesterday for tests related to a nerve neuropathy condition he developed over the last year. Plus he's got a staph infection so it's good he's there to treat that. His doctors say he might be there for a while.  When I spoke with him tonight he sounded just fine.  I know he's been dealing with that medical issue for a while and it's been a struggle.

So...send a good thought his way.  I'm planning on visiting him Friday.

Craig is a great guy, and a real radio guy.  I wish him a speedy recovery.

Just spoke with him and he's getting out Friday.  He's at Eastside Emory (in Gwinnett).

Glad to hear it. Craig Ashwood was one of my favorites.

FYI, HIPAA only applies to those directly involved in patient care. Family, friends and general public aren't bound by HIPAA, only those who are involved in the chain of care. No release or permission slip required. Smiley

Good to hear is getting out. A very good friend of mine caught a staph infection in the hospital and didn't make it out.
