Who would've thought X106.7, just a few months out of the gate, would be the leader of (modern-leaning) rock stations in Columbus? And wasn't The Blitz the reason 106.7 left Alternative the first time around?

The Blitz has become completely irrelevant here in Columbus. As long as that complete hack of a PD is still running the show, they will stay irrelevant for the forseable future.

I say Rover's Morning Glory helped 1067 leave the format the first time. Maybe it's time for a town hall meeting again.

Your a genius! Bring in more shows that do not originate out of Columbus. I know it's easy to be a keyboard bad ass, but if you put your ego aside...you may notice that local radio is what this business needs. Is anyone even LIVE at 1067? I've been on the air almost a month here and I love it. Maybe you all will visit the show again and develop an alternate outlook/opinion. Then again...I know how folks love to hate on these boards:)

All the best!!!

EXACTLY!  Loper and Randi offer a fresh show to the stagnant Columbus morning show  market - ie Dave and Jimmy, Wags and Elliot, Dino and Stacy - something new, fun, different, and exciting!  I have laughed out loud a countless number of times listening to them and in the morning that is just want you need.  Great content, something for everyone, fast paced show - I feel like I have had a large sugar free red bull with them every morning!  It's nice to have something different in Columbus - WELCOME TO CBUS Loper and Randi!  I, for one, am happy you are here  Wink  Keep rockin'

In my opinion, it's a solid show, however, I don't believe it's a good fit for the Blitz.  They sound like they should be on a Top 40 or Hot AC station.

I happen to tune in to Loper and Randi and I personally like the topics. I think it's a good fit for The Blitz. However, I have been wanting 103.9 to change for a very long time. It's not working, and I'm sure Hal feels nothing will really work on that crappy signal, so might as well keep it what he wants, rock.

I wouldn't mind seeing a CHR (but they wouldn't do it on a crappy signal) or a Modern AC station similar to the Click stations (in Dayton and Seattle). That would compete with Mix and X. But you know... that would require someone in that building to actually do something local with that station.
